Reading Level

Reading level is a tertiary element. It is suggested but optional to include in your product.

All people read at different levels. High functioning adults can suffer from reading disorders such as dyslexia and hyperlexia. People who do not originally suffer from dyslexia or hyperlexia can so from brain injuries like a stroke. For this reason, it is recommended that most content (excluding white papers and other academic vehicles) be written at an 8th grade reading level for most individuals. This also helps with international language barriers, thus bettering translation.
